ABOUT US:

The Luton Gospel Community Choir was established to give people in the Luton community the chance to sing in a real Gospel Choir. Initially, it was planned as a one-week project, during which people from all walks of life in the Luton community came together to learn Gospel songs to be performed at an end-of-week finale concert. It was a HUGE success, an amazing feat, and is now an annual Event in the Luton Community.

This year 2012 we celebrate 10 years! We have exciting plans and hope you will join us for an AWESOME CELEBRATION!

Over the past 10 years we have performed on local Radio and TV, Luton Football Club, Arndale Centre, Weddings, For Margaret Moran MP regeneration Conference, For the Abolition of Slavery Ceremony at the Luton Town Hall, As well as our own Gospel Music Week performance which has consistently been a sell out event!

The overall aims of the Luton Gospel Community Choir and Gospel Music Week is to:

Engage people of various ages and backgrounds from the local area to interact and get to know each other
To making Gospel Arts accessible to a wider audience
To develop and improve vocal and performance skills
Providing opportunities for Group singing and performance.
To be of benefit of our community
Giving young people positive activities to engage.
To support live music

Luton Gospel community Choir are non-profit voluntary group. The choir has no age, faith, gender or ability barriers.

Everyone is welcome so why not come along and get involved.
